Mr. Latif, the proprietor of the bookstore on the Wagah border is most likely the first friendly Pakistani you’ll meet. Don’t rush it, spend a few minutes talking to him and his son and you’ll be amazed what good advice you might get;) Besides, he has plenty of good used travel books to choose from…

2. [2011 or 2012] Motorbiking from Alaska to Patagonia: Just started thinking about it. Plan: Find a used thumper and hit back roads exploring this classic route all the way from the Deadhorse in Prudhoe Bay, U.S. to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Plus, practice and improve my Spanish, too...
